Snugg iPad 3 & 4 Leather Case review

Snugg was kind enough to send a Snugg iPad 4 & iPad 3 Leather Case in Black - Flip Stand Cover with Elastic Hand Strap and Premium Nubuck Fibre Interior over to review. We look at quite a few iPad cases at Spiked Studio so we have a good baseline for comparison and this stacks up at the top.

The Snugg case came in efficient packaging which we enjoyed seeing. Not too much waste for a product that is to protect your iPad. We are always baffled by other cases that over package them. It also comes in a handful of other colors including brown, red, white, orange, blue, pink and more.
The case itself felt sturdy and was well stitched around the edges. The iPad fit tightly into the right side and a piece of the case wraps behind it and uses Velcro to hold it in using the iPad weight. There is a cutout on the back and front for both cameras that lined up quite well.
I liked the design of notch for putting the case at the different slanted angles for viewing. It uses one slot that holds the iPad lower for typing and at like 75 degrees for viewing or streaming. See the video for live demonstrations.

The stylus slot sits at the top and tucks behind the iPad for storage. I noted if you do not use it then it has the tendency to fold back (from when it is packaged) effectively blocking the microphone slot. I only noticed due to some muffled audio complaints.which took me a second to figure out why. I show that in the video also.
One thing I wish they had offered was the ability to put some identifying card or information in the case. As I show in the video they stitch a card with their name into the case quite well. But you cannot change or remove it to add your own.
Overall I can see why this is one of the most popular cases on Amazon and other sites. Get your hands on the Snugg iPad 4 & iPad 3 Leather Case in any of the colors they offer at http://idonot.es/snuggipadcases
