MeeCase for iPad review

The MeeCase Apple iPad 2/3/4 Leatherette Stand is a great value price case for the iPad and basic user. All the necessary cutouts are in place for the camera, power, microphone, headphones and sync port. The added stylus slot is a great benefit.

However, as the video shows the iPad slips inside the MeeCase frame and the top simply tucks behind it. The flap that covers the iPad does not Velcro, snap or otherwise attach to the rest of the case. We found issues with this when walking or holding the case upside down (totally normal and possible as any other case I have tested you just grab the iPad and go). We found that the iPad would begin to slide out of the MeeCase and the folded over tab would begin to slide out.
Now compared to other cases the choice they made on only offering two positions was interesting. There is no portrait mode built in and only two landscape slants. Neither were conducive to typing angles. For viewing, streaming or clicking the limited two positions were ok.
The packaging for the MeeCase iPad Leatherette Stand was simple and we appreciated there was no waste except some simple plastic.
