New Years Eve, what are everyone’s plans?
I know where I will be this year. St
Louis finally has it's act together and came up with the 100 year celebration
of the World's Fair!! This will be not only an event tonight with
mainly free things, but a full year of activities including eating lunch
and dinner on weekends on the Eads Bridge over the Mississippi River. What
a concept.
So for what they are offering tonight peek
at this
pdf file they offer. A brief
list though:
- Fireworks of course
- Free shuttles
- Free cookies and hot chocolate at each shuttle stop
- 11 story Ferris Wheel
- Santa vs the Snowman at the Omnimax Theater
- Steinberg Skating Rink will be open for ice skating all night
- The McDonnell Planetarium will allow use of their telescopes since Saturn is aligned with Earth tonight
- Plus the kids have tons like thousands of Lego bricks, penguins at the zoo and other kid stuff.
So get those naps in and see you in 2004!
