Datexx PowerNow PN-1 USB charger review

Datexx sent over the Power Now PN-1 portable USB charger for review.
I have reviewed quite a few portable USB chargers and the Datexx PN-1 brings one very cool feature, the LED light settings. The light on the end stayed constantly lit over 24 hours on a single charge. Great for an emergency. The top two side LED lights (4 each side) are perfect for a halo style light on a table or for reading instructions in a pinch. From there it fell a bit short.
The Datexx Power Now came charged, but how much I did not know since there is no indicator of how much charge is left in the device. I made sure to fully charge it, until the charging indicator light went green and then ran my phones down. The first test was a HTC EVO 4G. I had the battery on red and it brought it back to just over 60%. Not bad for a mHa USB charger this size.
I then recharged it, and it took the full six hours as the packaging states, and did the test again for a BlackBerry Z10. Same result. Also for an iPod touch. This definitely does not have enough juice to recharge an iPad.
Since I could not let this sit a year to test their claim that the Datexx PN-1 holds a charge for one year when not in use, I will let that one go. If they only had some indicator light as most other chargers do to let you know what is left.
NOTE: The packaging does not include any iOS type cable. Just USB to micro-USB.
