Many thanks to everyone that quickly voted to get this Birds of a Feather idea onto the agenda. It will take place on Thursday morning, first thing. I know it is early but with the late voting and approval, the rest of my schedule had already been mapped out. From those that are curious what this BOF discussion will cover, here is the abstract:
With so many places to post information, share locations, and create content, establishing identity online should be approached with security in mind. Branding becomes the final piece, after deciding what types of information you want to share and on which networks.Join this open dialogue with others that have real world exposure, both publicly and privately, to help answer the many questions you have about online identity and presence. If you are new, come hear about the starting blocks to securely create your identity and brand. Those that have been sharing online are encouraged to attend to share tips and knowledge and maybe even pick up a new idea or two.
