The Philips WeCall Bluetooth Conference Speaker Phone AECS7000 is a winner with 4 microphones, good battery life and simple pairing.
Let's start with what is included with the Philips WeCall Bluetooth Conference Speaker Phone AECS7000. This speakerphone comes with a soft carrying case and a wrap inside the case to secure the provided USB cable. Note that this charges via that cable as well as connects but no plug end is provided. You can use any USB to wall power plug or use your computer.
Bluetooth was simple to pair by holding the clear button on the bottom until it flashed. My phones found the Philips WeCall Bluetooth Conference Speaker Phone AECS7000 right away as well as the Macbook. I also used the USB to the computer and it worked right away. I simply chose it as the source via either method. You can control the volume on the top of the speakerphone itself.
The four microphones in the Philips WeCall Bluetooth Conference Speaker Phone AECS7000 definitely made an impact at range, layout of people seated around it and quality. We were able to hear everyone great seats in multiple positions around the device, which is not found in many other competitors. This is not made for high quality music streaming sound. It is made for conference and video calls. While music sounded fine, do not elect to replace something like a JBL Flip. Expect a great conference speaker phone.
Battery life was very good at over 5 hours in our tests. We did stream a lot of music. Remember that the power button and the selection between Bluetooth and USB are found on the bottom. The in call controls are then on the top.
