IBM launches Software Business Partner widget

IBM launched what they are calling a widget for software business partners. I thought, a Lotus Notes widget (or call it a plug-in if that is what it is), but was shocked to see it was none of those. The launch screen looks like the following:
Scrolling down you find that it is a large (29.6mb) executable file that hooks into the operating system, not the client as I expected. Interestingly enough, it links to another page with more widget information. It also has a download, with a screenshot that looks identical, that is only 8.29MB, but still is operating system installed.
has anyone installed this? Any value in having it? Anyone make an actual Notes client widget yet? If not, let me know and I will see what Ic an do about making one to distribute. Authentication will be required when using it to the IBM site.
