IBM Connect launches +1 for Business Partners but then you miss a day of Lotusphere

Today I received an email announcing IBM Connect +1 for Business Partners to register for an enablement full day event right after Lotusphere 2013 (Connect.). Unfortunately it is scheduled for Thursday the 31st of January which is the day of Gurupalooza, Ask the Developers and the Closing Session!
What: Connect +1: Enablement for 2013
Who: IBM ICS attendees (sellers, technical, services) and ICS Business Partners
When: Thursday, January 31, 2013 (all day)
PLEASE NOTE:
You must be attending the conference to attend the Connect +1 enablement event.
This is for Business Partners only but I am not sure who would pay for Lotusphere and then miss a full day of some of the great content? Would you do it?
