Duracell Powermat Travelmat Travel Charger review
Tags :Duracel PowerMat TravelCharger
Since this Duracell Powermat PM1PB1 TravelMat Travel Charger was so heavy compared to some other portable USB chargers it eliminated this as portable. The functionality it offers in wireless charging is the selling point. In the video we look at the good and bad aspects.
Pro:
- We found that using the Duracell Powermat PM1PB1 TravelMat Travel Charger via the USB port, instead of the required and specific Duracell phone cases provided higher output (verified on the packaging) and then made it available to all devices.
- The LED battery lights showing battery level and charging status were nicely done.
- The unit was stable and held a phone easily
- Having both the wireless or USB charging option. (note the USB gives more amp output)
Cons:
- Weight of the Duracell Powermat PM1PB1 TravelMat Travel Charger was very high compared to other USB portable chargers
- There are very specific cases required for your devices that you may not like. There needs to be a standard developed.
- The side flap that exposed the recharge and USB ports was very flimsy. I could see it snapping off after some usage.
I am not sure why the case is so bulky unless the wireless ability needs something extra. It was not able to fully charge multiple devices, even having such a high mAh rating. I could see having this on a counter if was always on like some other models. But I would primarily use this as a USB charger and not a Powermat just due to the limits of the cases that are available to make this a complete package.
See the video for more and make sure to at least click Duracell Powermat PM1PB1 TravelMat Travel Charger to Amazon and let them know the video and review was helpful. That isn't asking much right?
