Bushnell Outdoor SolarWrap Mini Portable Battery review

The Bushnell Outdoor SolarWrap Mini Portable Battery velcro wrapped solar charger is light enough to be in everyones backpack, computer bag or purse. Having solar charging it removes that requirement of being plugged in to charge, but that is still an option as well. You will need direct sunlight and not many clouds to meet the 10 hours of stated charging by sunlight. You can easily plug this into any USB powered adapter (wall plug not included but we have so many now) and it only takes 4 hours.
We successfully used the 1A output of the Bushnell Outdoor SolarWrap Mini Portable Battery to charge a phone and an iPod. However you will not be able to charge an iPad as that need 2A and the product in no way states it would do that anyway being a mini model. We got almost a full charge of the phone on a full charge of the SolarWrap mini. Some phones just need even more power than is included in this to get back to 100%.
We like the rolling up ability of the Bushnell Outdoor SolarWrap Mini Portable Battery with the end that allows you to hang this via grommet. It makes camping and ten your office window an easy way for recharge. The total length is under 4.5" long and the width when rolled up is about 1.2". Unrolled it is over 18" long.
While we will not use this everyday with some of the other more powerful portable batteries we have, this is a good camping and portable one when you will not be near plugs
