Here comes another silo, "My DeveloperWorks"

I have been playing around in Pass-It-Along, the IBM Alphaworks site for some time now. Basically kicking tires and always striking a flat. But this presentation popped up today showing the coming changes for DeveloperWorks as a whole. Basically a combo of Lotus Connections, Pass-It-Along and some other things crammed together. Here is a summary they are introducing in "My DeveloperWorks":
- Home page design changes
- Profiles - yes make another one
- in-line commenting
- ratings
- community links
- tagging
- it seems you can surface other web personalities, maybe hooks?
- more groups
- users can become topic experts
- widgets to personalize your homepage
- blogs ?!?!
- Activities
- bookmarking
- knowledge paths (this is Pass-It-Along)
So what we get is another Lotus Connections install integrated with Pass-It-Along. I can't take many more of these when the Notes client alone will not let you run more than one Activity plug-in to surface all of these!
